drunkmuppet
Hello all, I recently installed OS 10.5 on a Dell Dimension 4600C running a 2.4 GHz SSE2 Intel P4 with an ATI 9200 and a Belkin GA311 NIC. Everything seems to be running swimmingly except for one thing. None of my other systems can connect to my Dell over AFP. I am given an error -36 "some data could not be read or written." I have repaired the disk permissions and run a disk repair via disk utility. The hard drive is brand new, so i doubt there's a hardware problem. Any ideas? I would greatly appreciate it. AyDee986
I am given an error -36 "some data could not be read or written.".... This problem makes the name of kernel. Example: I use iatkos v 7 with generic 9.5 xnu kernel, that naming the kernel in System/library/Extensions to System950.kext. Copy this file to desktop, or everywhere you would, and rename it to system.kext, and delete System950.kext. After renaming install that with oosx86tools. Then install the realte R1000 1.04 from sourceforge. Thats all! You've got working AFP with Bonjour with Gigabit.
