neoluigy
Hi everybody, first of all thanks a lot for all the useful information you share here. I hope you can help me with this problem: i´ve tryed to install a lot of diferents osx86 but the problem is always the same. Darwin starts the process of testing the hard (before installing) and it always freezes and I don´t know how to fix this issue. Here´s a link to a picture I took with the message that apears. Please can someone help me? http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/5311/imagen0022br1.jpg I don´t remember all the specifications of the hardeare (it´s a friends computer) but I do know that the mobo is Intel, the micro is a dualcore and the harddrive is SATA. Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad english. Luigy
macbrush
You NEED to find out all specifications of your hardwares, and post them here. The problem is the bootloader can't recognise your SATA controller, hence can't find the boot volumn. However, I can't say much, not even sure if your controller is possible under OS X without any more details.
Crabbintosh
I also have a Darwin boot issue. Running a Gateway laptop with Dual-core Pentium processor, SATA primary drive. After choosing -v -f boot options, I get the following messages: IOPCCardBridge::getOFConfigurationSettings: failed to configure the machine AppleenericPCATADriver: CMD 0x1f0, CTR 0x3f4, IRQ 14 It just repeats: Still Waiting for root device Anybody have any ideas?
