bkkrafty Posted November 29, 2007 Share Posted November 29, 2007 Hello, I am trying to install Kalyway release of OSX and im getting the message "still waiting for root device" I have read most of the post and its telling me to change the ICH9 to AHCI mode, I tried that and still no luck. I have also tried puting the hard drive on the JMicron controller but that does not seem to work either. I think I have tried almost ever combination, If anyone could help me out I would really appriciate it. In Bios - enable native sata support and set sata mode to AHCI (these two setings are ot the top of the 'intergrated' page) Disable the SATA IDE support (this should grey out the setting below which asks SATA or IDE Mode...
