duo2999 Posted November 29, 2007 Share Posted November 29, 2007 do they work on 10.4.8 or 10.4.9? neither of mine work. in disk utility they are picked up after i pull them out. i dont understand why they dont work. i need to be able to use them for school and such. solutions anyone? Dainix Posted November 29, 2007 Share Posted November 29, 2007 I presume you upgraded from 4.8 to 4.9. I had the same issue. It has something to do with the System.kext and kernel having different versions. Try using the older kernel that you used with 4.8 and see if that fixes it. duo2999 Posted November 29, 2007 Author Share Posted November 29, 2007 well i tried to upgrade but i had to do a clean install. i used the JaS 10.4.8 DVD that works with AMD SSE2 i tried to upgrade but ended up having to do a clean install. i guess its because i used the uphuck 10.4.9? anywho maybe it will work on 10.4.10 for me. at least i hope so.
