Would my Amilo 1650g take to leopard?

I've got an FSC Amilo A 1650 g laptop (and a few extra HDDs just laying around to play with), and I'd really like to run leopard, should I bother trying? And if, what installation would work best?

 

 

Mobile AMD Athlon 64 3700+ (Newark)

 

Memory at 1024 MBytes

 

As for the motherboard, not SiS... software claims Fujitsu for some reason. (I'll take a look as soon as I get offline)

 

Explain it to me like I'm 3 year old (who's been dropped on his head a few times)
