jjlucas76
Beta driver has been released by M-Audio for Firewire Audio Card for OS X 10.4.4 I can conferm that installation works fine on 10.4.3 8f1111a and the hardware is fully working. It is a beta so don't expect much but channels and audio quality is excellent PS:no lights are on except the power light (blue on Audiophile) NOTE: Driver will upgrade the firmware in the audio card so be carefull to do not unplug the card while upgrading.once the light comes up again i the box, means the upgrade is done. Enjoy it! Version 1.7 ? Intel Mac Duo support for PCM audio. AC-3 to be implemented at a later date. ? Firmware upgrades for all devices (except ProjectMix, which already has these improvements): - FireWire 1814, 410, and Audiophile use significantly less FireWire bus bandwidth. - FireWire 1814 now has mixing capability at sample rates above 48000 kHz. - FireWire 1814 front panel signal LEDs now work at 172/192 kHz. - For all devices, the firmware behaves more reliably when multiple devices are plugged into the FireWire bus. http://www.m-audio.com/index.php?do=suppor...rs&f=647&dl=yes Edited January 21, 2006 by jjlucas76 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/7388-m-audio-firewire/ Share on other sites
