Compaq Presario V2424NR Laptop

So I'm currently downloading OS X 10.4.8 (JaS version if it matters) for my laptop. I figured while I wait I would see if anyone with my model laptop has gone down this road. I couldn't find much. All I did find was that someone has a V2000 compaq that somewhat works, but not completely. It was listed in the 10.4.5 compatibility list found over in the original OSX86 wiki.

 

Anyway, here is my laptop configuration so you don't have to look it up. I've also added memory to it so it's not completely the same.

 

Processor: AMD Turion 1.8 ML-34

Memory: 1GB (will be getting another 1GB stick soon)

Video Card: ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M (with 128MB shared memory)

Hard Drive: 160GB

Optical: DVD/RW Dual-Layer Drive

Screen: 14.0-inch screen (optimal resolution is 1280x768)

Wireless: Broadcom 802.11 b/g (I forget the exact model)

Speakers: Altec Lansing (uses AC97 drivers)

 

Unfortunately I'm not sitting in front of my laptop as I type this so I can't currently give more information about each component. Thanks in advance for looking.
