Technobob Posted January 21, 2006 Share Posted January 21, 2006 Your ? is a little confusing your laptop should be the default display and should work without the need for a external display. Try checking in the BIOS and see if there is a setting to make it default. My iBook G4 does have a Radeon 9200 which only supports Quartz Exterme. The ATiRadeon8500.kext supports the 8500, 9000, and 9200. All of those are supposed to have Quartz Extreme support only, if the driver were to be functioning properly. So, the Radeon 8500's do support Quartz Extreme.
