I did almost everyrhing, no not almost... I did everything right, had the right md5 checksum codes etc. Then finally i was ready to boot from the DVD but I got this next error:

Fist this: Boot CD-ROM Type: CD-ROM/Non-Emulation Booting

And next: System config file '/.com.apple.Boot.plist' not found

I have a EDL-70 Barebone, with a NEC ND-6650A DVD+- thingie. Mobile 1,86 + 1024MB DDR... 80GB Western Digital SATA disk.. But still it won't boot...

When I put the DVD in my PC with a NEC ND 3500A-G. There I get the Darwin Boot Menu...

Is that type of CD-ROM Drive not supported? That's pretty weird though...

Sometimes pressing enter at the first startup screen before the counter has finished will get you past the com.apple.Boot.plist not found. Also is the drive jumpered as master? cos that works too. or you could swap drives until you get an install done. Though some drives do work better than others it's just the way it is unfortunately

It won't even start the Darwin menu @ my notebook..

I'm talking about a notebook  So that swapping and making master of my dvd drive won't work i guess.

But unfortunatly I guess you're right.. Cause in My PC it is a Master DVD... Damnit1!!111
