Magice Posted November 27, 2007 Share Posted November 27, 2007 I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the ToH installer to boot on my P5B deluxe. I don't have it off the back of my hand, but the cd device is garbled and just won't find any files on the cd. I've heard the issue is somewhere along the lines of a IDE dvd drive, but is there any way for this to work with a IDE and not SATA? Thanks! superfaen Posted November 27, 2007 Share Posted November 27, 2007 It doesn't work, get a cheap sata drive and it will read the disk. That's what I did. It is possible to install via vmware (I did that too), but it's more hassle. I had to set my disks to AHCI in bios to get osx to work, and I think I disabled the JMicron controller.
