rochman Posted November 26, 2007 Share Posted November 26, 2007 hi all...after trying i managed to install uphuck 10.4.9 1.3...due to settings problems with sata hd and sata dvd.. i could't install it... every time i get " root device still waiting......it's now fix... and now..i install de full dvd version.... .. restart system.. and then i get... rochman Posted November 27, 2007 Author Share Posted November 27, 2007 How did you fix the root device message? well..in the bios settings... sata as achi not as ide... disable any ide settings.... startupdisk in channel 1 and dvd sata in channel 7... it's works for me... it took me ours to check every settings...chears...
