jobsmarc
I'm using Intel CPU with SSE3/x86_64 support. I installed Leopard original DMG by Pacifist, then I patched original "mach_kernel" by "OSx86_Socket_Source_Code_and_581_Kernel_Patcher", and I replaced kexts in "Leopard Partition/System/Library/Extension/" dir by "BrazilMac-9a581-Patch/files/extensions/*.kext". then I restart my PC, Leopard works, but if I click "About this Mac" from Apple menu, desktop crashs and reload. How to fix this problem? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/73434-leopard-about-this-mac-crash/ Share on other sites
flere
I had crash in System Profiler. I fixed this turning (in BIOS) option Max CPU ID (or something like it) off. With Max CPU ID on, my quad q6600 was identified as core solo, and System Profiler would crash. With Max CPU ID off, cpu is "unknown", but everything works like a charm. -- flere Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/73434-leopard-about-this-mac-crash/#findComment-518935 Share on other sites
