I've got a Sigmatel C-Major sound card and when installing OS X 10.4.3 i had sound "right out of the box". The only problem is that the sound quality is so bad that its on the border to being worse than no sound at all (since I have to always keep it turned off anyway). I don't know exactly how to describe it but it's like it is played of a scratched old vinyl disc. Has anyone experienced the same problem and if so did you find a way to work around it? I'm happy for any tip I can get!

Thanx!

i dont knwo why it does it, but it only happens to me after my computer starts to stutter... which i ALSO dont know what causes it to happen.

and no one on these boards wants to help me with kernels, so i can't test it enough to find out.
