hellspawn
Hi! I'm using a German (PC-)keyboard and I have set OSX to use a German layout in System Preferences. But the ^° and <> keys are swapped (^° normally is in the upper left corner and <> sits right to the left shift key). I think I might have selected the wrong keyboard type when I booted for the first time (you know, the window where you can choose between ISO-Layout and two others if the keyboard could not be identified by OSX). I haven't found a way to trigger this again so I would be able to choose another type. Howdo I do this? Mebster
This should have been posted in a subcategory and not the main category where you're likely to receive more effective help. Please state if you're installation is Tiger or Leopard so it can be moved to the correct subcategory. EDIT: Moved to Tiger Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/73198-wrong-keyboard-layout/#findComment-520848 Share on other sites
