darcagn
I have a Apple USB Keyboard and a Logitech G5 USB mouse connected to my box running OSX 8f1111a. Whenever I boot into OS X, they don't work. I have to unplug them and replug them in order to get them to work. Is there any solution to this? I'm really close to getting everything to work in OS X, and I would like to get this out of the way... vfilby
I have noticed that the boot hangs if I have my ipod or card reader plugged into the usb ports, so maybe the boot problem is with any usb device and not just kb/mouse. darcagn
No, I don't think you understood me. The OS boots up fine, but the peripherals are unresponsive. In order to wake them up, I have to unplug them and plug them back in again. I'm not losing any functionality; it's just a pain the in the ass to get up every time I reboot, and I'm rebooting a lot trying to get my hardware to work. George Elliott
Did you try enabling USB keyboard and mouse support in the BIOS? I know that this doesn't work for some people but its the only way my system will recognise my keyboard on bootup.
