catchos
Hello, this is my first post here, I'm a complete Mac OS X newbie so far although kind of experienced with NT/XP/Linux/Unix. At this early stage, I'm looking for the right hardware components to start with the Developer Kit DVD. What I learned so far from reading the wiki FAQ page a mainboard with Intel 915 Chipset and Hyperthreading CPU is recommended. Has anyone here successfully installed the Developer Kit on an AOpen XC CubeMZ915-M? The motherboard is built with 915G and ICH6 chipsets supporting Intel onboard Graphics Media Accelerator 900 (GMA900). This XC Cube Mini PC adopts the Intel mobile CPU of 479-pin socket which I have one or two lying around here and know it runs very quiet because it doesn't need much cooling. Please let me know if you think this configuration could allow me to install and run the Developer Kit with minimum patches (PS2 support / TPM). Thanks.
