PC2APPLE
Okay so I am going to try to buy Mac 10.4 tomorrow and I have some questions. I have an Intel 965 chipset and I need to make sure everything on my PC will work and I shouldn't have any problems. I want to do a clean install of Mac 10.4 and completely remove Vista and Linux. Here is the info from my computer. FYI, I also show that I am compatible with SSE3. Thanks! Synaesthesia
Okay so I am going to try to buy Mac 10.4 tomorrow and I have some questions. You should use a prepatched dvd, you can't use a retail version. Anyway, the retail 10.4 is PPC only. But I digress. You need an Intel version of 10.4, and it needs to be patched. If you get hold of a 10.4 install dvd from an Intel mac, you can patch that, but I recommend rather downloading a prepatched dvd, eg. By JAS, Uphuck, XXX, etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/72889-help-getting-ready-to-install/#findComment-515981 Share on other sites
