Kinseek
I have a GA-P35-DS3L board, and had to use AHCI to boot up Mac OS. Someone on the wiki said " Pion's gigabyte pack for 10.4.8 worked with Leo to enable support for the JMicron and ICH8 without having to set AHCI.", which I downloaded and installed those two options, which caused a kernel panic on boot. How might I fix this? I have instalelled Macdrive on my XP partition, and my hunch tells me to simply maneuver to \System\Library\Extensions and replace JMicronATA.kext and, well, I couldnt find anything named ICH8.kext.Would this method work? Where might I find the originals? What about ICH8.kext? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/72862-replaced-kext-got-kernel-panic/ Share on other sites
