I installed EFI today, but I must have done something wrong when I replaced the kernel with a vanilla one. I'm going to reinstall 10.4.9

I'm wondering: Will EFI survive Erase Partition in Disk Utility?

If not, can I reinstall 10.4.9 without erasing the disk?

What I'm hoping to do (Besides my Leopard experiment)

is to install 10.4.9 with EFI and just update with the official 10.4.11 update.

Thanks!
