I have a PCI Geforce FX 5500 256mb card. any help would be appreciated! Shagbag Posted November 22, 2007 Share Posted November 22, 2007 You want either the latest Linux IA32 or Linux AMD64/EMT64 depending upon whether you're running Kubuntu AMD64 version (in which case you'll want the AMD64/EMT64 one) or you're running plain old 32-bit Kubuntu. If you don't know which one you're running then you're running 32-bit and you want the latest Linux IA32 version. BUT Don't download and install the driver from the nVidia site until AFTER you have tried out the one that's already in the Kubuntu repos. Open Adept and search for '*nvidia*' to find it. It should be the one prefixed with 'xorg' or something like that.
