Richie_Roo
Hi all, I have bought all the bits for my hackintosh. The hardware list contains all the usual suspects; D975XBX2, Q6600, 4Gb Kingston RAM. Tonight I plugged in the CPU+heatsink and powered up the mother board (just to check them before I go any further). The two red LEDs (CPU and VR) immediatley come on. Does this indicate a serious problem, or is it just indicating that something isn't connected? I searched the Intel site, but its vague about the cause of the lights (mentions overheating). Any advise gratefully recieved.
Richie_Roo
No answers huh? Ok, found another post with similar problem. Turned out to be a poor 4x2 connector from the PSU.
