diser
Hi All, i have the following mainboard with a x2 5000+, i installed Tubegirl 10.4.10 without any problems (i only needed to delete titan.kext and the nvdia kexts to avoid stops). i managed to boot perfectly into osx, everything works great... but i can´t change the resolution! i´m stuck to 1024x746 with a bad hz-rate :-( every nvidia package i tried (nvinject, titan, natit) didn´t work for me... i´m stuck! my on-board gfx is a geforce 6100 with a nforce 430 chipset, any workaround for this? thanks for your help!!!! tomnic
No support for your integrated vga... unless you set the resolution and the refresh in com.apple.Boot.plist, better than nothing, but no 3d acceleration... hookshot
oh, dont worry I have the exact same board, it should be easy: in osx open up terminal type sudo nano /library/preferences/systemconfiguration/com.apple.boot.plistenter password and hit enter add <key>Graphics Mode</key> <string>1280x1024x32</string> under <string>Yes</string> but before </dict> hit CTRL+O hit Enter Hit CTRL+X Reboot If you want any other resolutions just change the numbers credit goes to this fabulous forum, cant remember where i got it from, somewhere here Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/72637-asrock-alivenf6g-vsta-changing-on-board-gfx-resolution/#findComment-515427 Share on other sites
