Asrock ALiveNF6G-VSTA - Changing On-Board Gfx Resolution?

Hi All,

i have the following mainboard with a x2 5000+, i installed Tubegirl 10.4.10 without any problems (i only needed to delete titan.kext and the nvdia kexts to avoid stops).

i managed to boot perfectly into osx, everything works great... but i can´t change the resolution!

i´m stuck to 1024x746 with a bad hz-rate :-(

every nvidia package i tried (nvinject, titan, natit) didn´t work for me... i´m stuck!

my on-board gfx is a geforce 6100 with a nforce 430 chipset, any workaround for this?

thanks for your help!!!!

oh, dont worry I have the exact same board, it should be easy:

in osx open up terminal

type

sudo nano /library/preferences/systemconfiguration/com.apple.boot.plist

enter password and hit enter

add

<key>Graphics Mode</key>

<string>1280x1024x32</string>

under <string>Yes</string>

but before </dict>

hit CTRL+O

hit Enter

Hit CTRL+X

Reboot

If you want any other resolutions just change the numbers

credit goes to this fabulous forum, cant remember where i got it from, somewhere here
