AD 1986 AC97 Codec (NOT AD1986A) : I/O Pins modification

Hi all,

 

On my Siemens E620 I own a AC97 codec, the analog AD1986, which is NOT high definition audio capable, unlike his brother the AD1986A (so NO WAY to use AppleAzaliaAudio.kext instead) . Sound output is functional using AppleAC97AudioIntelICH.kext, but I wonder if there is any way to modify the driver binary to get proper pin assignment (i.e actually we got LineOut using LineIn jack, and no Mic input, no headset output).

 

Any ideas ?
