leon_75 Posted January 19, 2006 Share Posted January 19, 2006 when i try to install from patched Macosx 10.4.3 8f1111 For Dtk Userdvd (i've verified checksum) with the -v option, the install give me the following message 5 times: "SAM multimedia error: Read or Write failed, asc=0x11, ascq=0x05" then the message "disk3s2: I/O error" and it loop with those 2 messages... alex116 Posted May 17, 2006 Share Posted May 17, 2006 Had the same problem as well, burned a new dvd at 2x after reading this post and mine works too. burning at 8x it took over an hour with a bad disk, while at 2x it took around 30 minutes.
