Xerses Posted November 17, 2007 Share Posted November 17, 2007 I have the uphuck 10.4.9i r2 (v1.4i Intel Only) DVD. When I install it on my PC everything seems fine, but it hangs on boot. When in verbose mode it shows the hang up at : Local Host mDNSresponder adding browse domain local. I have selected the uphuck main file, ICH7/ICH6 IOATAFamily.kext (supports ICH5 as described), another patch (for SSE2), but it hangs as described above. Does anyone have a clue as to what the issue is? I have 2 NICs, one is Intel Pro 100ve (I have not selected the driver for it) and the other is a Realtek 8139 which should be installed with the default install drivers.
