Acidx Posted November 14, 2007 Share Posted November 14, 2007 Hey all Im trying to install 10.4.8 on an external usb drive. (using this iso:Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2]) the boot process and all goes fine until i get to "install" part. than about 5 sec after installation begins it gives error "installation falied press restart" or something like this. Also tried installing on vmware and got the same exact results. Any idea? specs: thinkpad x60 Processor (CPU): Intel® Core Duo processor T2400 Graphics chipset: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 Mem: 1 gb HD: 80GB External usb HD: WD 120 GB Wireless standard: Intel 3945 a/b/g and Bluetooth Network card: Integrated Intel PRO/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Main OS: Ubuntu 7.10 Any Hint will be apreaciated.
