molecule Posted January 18, 2006 Share Posted January 18, 2006 OK, so here goes... installed 8F1099 using native install, no problems... some problems with sound not playing correctly but network works like a charm. I had problems with the fan starting up from time to time... nothing strange about that but I rather keep it off for as long as possible... so off to System Preferences->Energy Saver->Options... here i selected Reduced Processor Performance... well I was coding through the night and went to bed... this morning when I started it up again everything just flew! Safari made 6-8 bounces before now it does 1!
