Bodi79
Hey too all ! I want´too build my custom OSX86 PC, but my question is.. which hardware is best.. Should i go for the Intel Dual Core with the 945/955 chipsets. Or should i take the AMD Dual Core .. (which Chipset???) On Benchmarks the AMD´s are better on Windows.. but which makes a better run on osx.. Would be glad if you could give me some advice.. macprodan
hard to say if the intel dual or amd dual would be best.. its all about the rightchipset and graphics setup mainly. GO FOR HARDWARE THAT IS KNOWN TO WORK, So i would say intel based board and cpu.Dont get me wrong i love OSX on my A64 X2 but some SATA and ATi GPU would make it even better. Careless
check the xbench thread. you'll see that for someone with no OpenGL support, my CPU seems to be kicking ass and taking names in the xBench thread.
