Bolkin
Hi. I installed Osx86 10.4.5 on my THinkpad T42 Laptop and everything went well except when it boots, it gets stuck at the Apple logo with the spinning circle icon. I've tried a lot of things like deleting ktextcache but nothing seems to work. I used -v command option and it came up with (/System/Library/CoreServices/loginwindow.app /Contents/MacOS/loginwindow port /dev/console exited abnormal) error scrolling endlessly. Please help before I toss my laptop out the window. Also, is it possible to install Osx86 on an Asus SLI motherboard with AMD64 cpu? If so, could someone please point me to the right version to install? I tried Leopard but won't boot (installed from leopard x86 flat image) Thank you. fjevel
I can confirm that JaS 10.4.10 works right "out of the box" on the 2373. Just need a supported wifi card and to get the ATi 7500 Mobility Radeon to work now, and then it´s all good. -KJ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/70878-boot-problem-in-thinkpad-t42-type-2373/#findComment-507313 Share on other sites
