MacOsX-Lepre Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 Ho provato a installare la 10.4.9 su una penna USB. Purtroppo una volta completata l'installazione non riesco a bootare. Il portatile puo' bootare da penna USB, provato con Linux. C'e' da fare qualcosa prima di rendere attivo il boot da USB su OSX? Io ho formattato la penna dall'Utility disco dell'installer dell'OSX. beeboo Posted November 9, 2007 Share Posted November 9, 2007 Format the pendrive: Plugin your USB pendrive and open Disk Utility (Applications->Utilities). Select your pendrive device in the left menu, and click the partition tab. Enter a nice name for your device like osx86. Hit Options... button, and choose Master Boot Record. From the drop-down, choose 1 partition as the volume scheme. Be sure the filesystem is Mac OS Extended (Journaled), Hit the Partition button. mikemore Posted November 10, 2007 Share Posted November 10, 2007 Mi intrometto solo per chiedere una cosa: praticamente hai installato os x su di una penna usb cercando di farla boottare, ma avviando il pc senza penna, ti parte windows o ti crea qualche problema non trovando la penna ? O meglio, installando osx su di una penna usb, devi crearti tutta la procedura di dual boot come se lo installassi in un hd o funziona in modo che, se c'è la penna parte os x, se non c'è la penna parte windows ? Sarei interessato alla cosa per far prove con Leopard prima di metterlo su hd.
