lipolysis98 Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 It's a t40, pentium M. I installed 10.4.6 on it. If i just let it boot, it will show "error loading OS". If I choose to boot from dvd, sometimes it will boot the dvd and start the installation process. That would be expected. But sometimes, it will boot off the hard drive! I repeat, I have to choose to boot off the dvd for this computer to start up from the hard drive. #diskutil list #: type name size identifier 0: FDisk_partition_scheme 37.7gb disk0 1: apple_hfs untitled 37.2gb disk0s1 "startup disk" does not show any local hd as bootable device.
