mathu Posted November 6, 2007 Share Posted November 6, 2007 hi i am using this guide to install Mac OS X86 with Windows Vista to dual boot: http://coolblog.profit42.com/2007/07/03/up...ual-boot-guide/ the problem is, when i do step 3,4 and 5. i do step 3 without any problem (Shrink Volume to get 6GB Free space) when i do step 5 i get the problem. i type in: list disk select disk [the number of your disk] create partition primary id=af it say i can't create it i have added screen-shots to explain it more. digdug Posted November 7, 2007 Share Posted November 7, 2007 Mathu, that is because you can't allocate OSX to a partition on a logical drive, which is what you seem to have done. You need to shrink your C:\ drive to grab the 6BG alloted space. Then it will work. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
