Ive tried 2 different installations. Tubgirl 10.4.10 and and uphuck 10.4.9. I know i have to look under disk utility and yes i have formated the drive as "create partition primary id=af" Computer specs.. processor: AMD Athlon 64 x2 Dual Core tk-55 sse sse2 sse3 2 gb ram Chipset ATI Rs690/RS690M disk drive: WDC WD1200BEVS-75UST0 ATA Device i would appreciate the advice thanx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have the same problem with my 1501 but im using the SB600 chipset Sorry still learning how to use this site. I found the specs for the SB600 series chipset here http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/Produc...5E14623,00.html And according to here http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=57643 You just need to download a new kext and appy it. I have the same chipset/issue. no i havent but ive read that people with 1521 computers are having a hard time installing even to a usb device...
