pappasmurfsharem
I have an inspiron 1501 I'm trying to use aross6's method for installing with vmware and modifing to boot natively http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...l=inspiron+1501 my problem is that when i install with vmware on my 40 gb parition (vista and mac ultimately wanted on my single 200gb hitachi its a sata drive so i can't just directly install from booting the dvd.) it seems to work fine and dandy but then when i restart the virtual machine, power off or anything i get an error involving the other.vdmk file or something on the partition.... any ideas whats going on? I did however get to #16 on aross6's list but but the disk utility froze so i restarted vmware and thats when i got the vdmk error.....
