Hi,

Wondering if anyone has been able to get a Texas Instruments 1510 Cardbus controller working in Leopard yet?

I had this working under Tiger with no problems by using DiaboliK's 1510 fix from the end of this thread: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...;hl=pcmcia+.zip. However, no luck under Leopard. Leads to boot failure, though no specific panic. Just hangs at "using 10485 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers". Same thing in single user mode as well.

I also tried modifying IOPCCardFamily.kext to include the appropriate memory and IO ranges for my card, as detailed here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...truments+pcmcia.

Unfortunately, no luck with this method either.

One thing I did notice while working on this is that under Tiger, System Profiler showed my machine model as "ADP2,1", so I modified the values in that section of the Info.plist. However, Leopard shows my model as ACPI. There's no ACPI section in the Info.plist, so I tried changing "ADP2,1" to "ACPI", also with no luck.

Here's the output of IOPCCard starting up under Tiger:

IOPCCard info: Intel PCIC probe: TI 1510 rev 00

IOPCCard info: cs: cb_alloc(bus 22): vendor 0x168c, device 0x0013

IOPCCard info: cs: cb_alloc(bus 22): found 1 functions

IOPCCard info: cs: cb_config(bus 22)

IOPCCard info: fn 0 bar 1: mem 0xa0010000-0xa001ffff

IOPCCard info: irq 16

And here's the output of lspci -v from latest Ubuntu:

15:00.0 CardBus bridge: Texas Instruments PCI1510 PC card Cardbus Controller

Subsystem: Lenovo ThinkPad T60/R60 series

Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 168, IRQ 11

Memory at e4300000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable)

Bus: primary=15, secondary=16, subordinate=17, sec-latency=176

Memory window 0: e0000000-e3fff000 (prefetchable)

Memory window 1: 88000000-8bfff000

I/O window 0: 0000a000-0000a0ff

I/O window 1: 0000a400-0000a4ff

16-bit legacy interface ports at 0001

The machine itself is a Lenovo T60 laptop Type 2623-D3U. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is the last peice I need to have a fully functional Leopard install on my IBM/Lenovo T60 (need it for wireless pccard as I've got the dreaded Intel 3945 builtin).

Thanks!
