david06
I am thinking about building a Hackintosh for video work (capturing, compressing, editing). My Macbook Pro isn't cutting it and I'd like to be able to leave a box running compression/rendering stuff and have my MBP free as a primary computer for other tasks. A Mac Pro would be amazing but I don't want to drop that kind of money right now. I'd like to spend maybe $400-500 on a motherboard, processor, RAM, and video card (I have hard drives and optical drives.) What would the best choices be to minimize compatibility issues?
