askGODdotcom
I have a 512 MB PowerColor X1600 Pro AGP card and am attempting to install Mac OS X 10.4.8. I have installed already the Borisbadenov driver and a kext that makes my Ethernet card work properly. When I boot, I get 1024x768 and the "Booting Mac OS X" dialog box with the progress bar. When the progress bar reaches the end of the process, it hangs. When in verbose mode, it complains that there are no hosts for the Ethernet card to connect to. I have also tried installing the Borisbadenov method without the Ethernet card fix, but the same problem shows up. Does anyone know this problem and/or have a solution? Thanks!
