wilhelmmm
How can I get my processor not being so hot? I have a Dell XPS 1210 running osx 10.4.9 with macdotnub speedstep application running. I also removed the AppleACPIThermal.kext plugin from AppleACPIFamily.kext The speedstep is workon fine but the processor is realyrealy hot, right now it's (according to CoreDuoTemp) 71 Celsisus and the computer feels really hot and the fan is spinning like crazy... Why is it so hot??? Is there anything else you can do? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/69475-core2duo-cpu-hot-hot/ Share on other sites
wilhelmmm
noone??? EDIT: Actually, after I removed the AppleACPIThermal.kext plugin from AppleACPIFamily.kext the temperature has dropped about 10 degrees. from around 70 to around 60... right now its 59... so I'm happy with that right now Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/69475-core2duo-cpu-hot-hot/#findComment-493729 Share on other sites
