LuigiRoxU Posted November 3, 2007 Share Posted November 3, 2007 Hello, I have a Dell Dimension 9200 (XPS 410 i believe) I have Tiger installed on my computer and i have patched the Leopard GM 9a851 image in Tiger and burned it to a dvd+rw but when i boot the dvd at start up and it goes to the Apple Logo and it just hangs there showing a O with a line in it flashing. Why can't i boot up the installation to Leopard even though i have a successful Tiger installation? Selayan Posted December 18, 2007 Share Posted December 18, 2007 Mine does the same, its meaning is that it cant find root device, which means it cant find your hard drive. You need to switch ACHI on but our computers (I have am XPS 410 too) don't have that option.
