mac on the rock
Anybody any success with other webcams? (Can't get my Logitech to work, macam supports sound input, but not video) Is the list of supported cameras at: http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/ also valid for x86? I think it should be as "the driver run completely in user space", but would rather have the opinion of sombody more knowledgable about this. THX Sound with Logitech webcam is not because macam, it appears in the Sound Preference Panel when its connected. I used macam but if I run natively it does not show video, only if I run it with Rosetta, but I think that it has to do with my unsupported Video Card. Olivier
Before to buy the Insight, I tried with my Logitech webcam, but no success, even if I spend a lot of time. I went downtown, and lokked Logitech webcam. None was compatible with 10.4.3. I bought a quickam pro, and never worked :>(( So I change it for the Isight... What I want to say, is very sade for a big Swiss company that they do not developp serious webcam for Apple.
