dbarrett5381 Posted November 1, 2007 Share Posted November 1, 2007 I found a kext for the ATI SB600 IDE Controller and am wondering if their is a way to patch my install dvd to add the kext. It takes about 6 hours to install osx and about 30 minutes to boot into it because the IDE controller doesn't recognize UDMA. So if their is a way to patch my install dvd, it might be the easier way to go around it.
