Hi, i have to change my old Pc, and i try to build my mac...

 

i wont, if it's possible, dual boot vista/leopard (and in future only leopard).

can you help me to chose the right hardware??

i have chose this hardware, but i don't know if is all compatible with mac osx...

 

Motherboard: ASUS P5K premium

CPU: intel core2duo E6750 2.66ghz 1333mhz

RAM: DDR2 DIMM 2GB(2X1GB) PC2-6400 800MHZ OCZ PLATINUM

HD: 2 x SATA 120 GB WD in RAID 0, in 2 partition 120gb fo vista and 120 for leopard, can work???

HD: SATA 500gb

Video: PCI-E ATI SAPPHIRE HD2600XT 256MB DDR3 128BIT

DVD-RW SATA sony nec

I think all of that hardware is compatible with Mac OS X :)

 

They 2600xt is working 100%, but some people have had some trouble with it...The p35 based board just needs a sata dvd player, and the mode set to "achi" in bios.

 

Otherwise, I think you're all set! ;)

JMicron...mmm...I Don't know...for more information, I recommend looking around on the forum for topics about that, and P35 motherboards in general With the "flat image" method, you don't need to install Tiger, you can do it from windows. It's on demonoid. (torrent site)

 

In fact, I think there's another method as well, that doesn't need windows...not sure

Well, im sorry if its too late, but mine is working perfectly exept the lan, which i bought one from target 19.99 linksys 100TX and works fine... i have dual boot Vista and Mac 10.4.9. The only thing i havent tried install yet is the HD2600XT but i think will do just fine...
