Crawley
I have 250Gb SATA WD hd split into three parts: 1. Windows (NTFS) - 52.22GB 2. MacOsX (HFS+) - 52.22GB 3. Fat32 partition (rest of the drive) Disk utility sees it only as 128GB WD hard drive. I cannot format fat32 part using anything. Any help? Tried to search forum, but no solution found. BJMoose
Are you using ide mode in your bios? Have you tried AHCI mode? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/68863-diskutility-cannot-format-disk/#findComment-489620 Share on other sites
Crawley
Ok, now the disk is seen properly, but still can't make any change to partitions. But this solved me another problem - disk performance rocks now!. I left my sata setup as compatible (10.4.8 didt't want to boot with enchanced configuration), now I changed it to enchanched. Thanks anyway. The format problem still remains, hope that will be solved too.
