But I have already patched leopard via the method in the guide.

However, I still got this error "can't find mach-kernel"(while patching, this message emerged also, but patch showed sucess at last!).

What's more, after I hit F8 enter and -s, I got the choice of :

1. make some modification to files by enter "sbin /uw"

2. boot system by enter"exit"

then, I select "exit"

I really want to know what's the matter?

thank you all guys!

Same prob :s

Someone solved it?

EDIT: Hahaha finaly done it :) I forgot to config the postpatch lol

To be honest this happened to me as well. "can't find mach-kernel". I just started over again using the instructions here. I first tryed brazilmacs method (patching after booting into tiger again). Right after that i had "can't find mach-kernel". Instead i used the usb key method (follow link above) by patching under terminal in leopard installation disc. After that it worked. I probably spent close to 9 hours installing leo to get it to work.

thank you!

I got it.

However, while I finished login in the system, I got four language reboot error.

So by using -v, I got these information:

Login window Application Started

no network interfaces, could not update platform UUID

NTFS driver 2.0 [Flags: R/O]

NTFS volume name, version 3.1
