Hey all.

Spent last night getting osx x86 onto my laptop. Finally got everything in including batt support, sound, internet over my mobile phone... but there is one thing I am stuck on... getting a fully working wifi connection.

I have the RA+ usb wifi utility, it can see all the networks around me (about 7 in total). I can connect to the unsecured network fine and use the internet over that connection.

But I want to use my secured wifi connection which uses WPA-PSK security.

I can see the network.

I click connect.

It prompts for pass key.

I enter it.

I click connection.

Nothing happens, it just refreshes the list and doesn't connection.

Anyone have any previous issues or any potential ideas that may allow me to connect to secure wifi rather than just unsecured wifi? Seems odd that I can connect to one and not the other?

Regards,

David

P.s

I believe the wifi is realtek and it is onboard rather than a USB dongle. It is shown in the hardware list and as I say, unsecured networks work fine...
