jharleman Posted October 30, 2007 Share Posted October 30, 2007 EDIT This post is for a brazil mac install. I am now running PC EFI and the only modded kexts that are necessary is the AppleSMBIOS. I have also added in dsmos (necessary for the stock kernel), ACPIPS2nub (necessary for PS2 Controller), and the ApplePS2Controller. /edit After a lot of trial and error I was able to get Leo up and running on my T61 Laptop. I wanted to do as few mods as possible and from the list included in Brazil's package only did: AppleACPIPlatform AppleSMBIOS dsmos *the first three were essential to run. The rest eliminated problems AppleAHCIPort AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer (problems around the dock getting fuzzy) ApplePS2Controller (fixed my trackpad/keyboard, but wasn't part of Leo) IOAHCIFamily IOATA (wasn't seeing my SATA drive) IOHDIXController I also had to eliminate AppleIntelPowerManagement (HPET problem) I skipped: AppleVIAATA (this one is not part of Leo) AAppleAC97Audio AppleAzaliaAudio The last two are pretty clear on function. I also found out that by logging in as root I could just drag and drop extensions into the extensions folder and deleting extensions.mkext cause an immediate rebuild and reload of extensions! cheers - jl Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
