Nitramusa Posted October 29, 2007 Share Posted October 29, 2007 Hi, The 8800GT is out!! I was wondering if it is compatible with OS x86 too, because it's a 88xx serie too! But, the Core is different..The GTS/GTX/Ultra have the G80 Core, while the new 8800GT has the G92 Core... Can someone test it out? BTW, if they work, are the 512MB recognised well?? Because till now only 256MB cards worked i guess... So do 256MB+ cards work well with full advantage of the extra RAM? (like the 8800GTX, GTS 320...) Thanks! Proteo Posted October 29, 2007 Share Posted October 29, 2007 I've read that it is much cheaper (about 50%) than GTS, and that the performance is quite good for the price, very near to the bigger models. However I have no idea whether it works or not in Hackintoshes.
