ju$t Posted October 29, 2007 Share Posted October 29, 2007 Hi all, my friend and me are trying to burn leopard since yesterday with no result. We have a toast image and a dmg file. We use liquidcd, toast or Disk Utility and whatever we do each software tell us that there is a hardware problem with the burner. Is there something special to do to simply burn the file ? have we to make a bootable dvd (and how : new in mac area ). exscape Posted October 31, 2007 Share Posted October 31, 2007 Two questions, they may be obvious, but who knows! 1) Is the disc positively a dual layer one? 2) Same, but the burner. BTW, Disk Utility seems to be the only way to get the DVD bootable. I don't have any source for that info, though. I reinstalled Tiger to burn the disc, a pain in the ass but worked like a charm. You're going to want to mount the dmg in disk utility and burn it that way, btw.
