erichq
i recently downloaded the new mac osx and the file came at 6.6gb. after extracting it the file was a .dmg.ive i was able to convert the .dmg into an .iso....but is there anyway i could shrink the .dmg file to fit it onto a 4.7gb dvd? seeing how my burner isn't dl...b/c after converting it the size got even bigger. when i go to open it up in Ultra ISO I get a prompt saying "unsupported block size, HFS volume will be skipped". then the total size of what shows up it just a few hundred mb. when the iso itself is like 6gb. some of the files are a setup *bootcamp* bootcamp installation guide, a read me, documentation folder, driver folder, and a autorun setup info file. did i get the wrong torrent? or is the file suppose to be that big? If you're in Windows it will be much easier to start with a pre-patched [ie single-layer] DVD.
