matt speak
hey, my friend has just brought a Macbook, and received an upgrade CD as they obviously were not instantly shipping w/ leopard. ive tried installing it on my macbook and it comes up with the error 'You need mac osx 10.4 for this upgrade' when it searches for current systems. i do have the very latest osx. more interestingly when you run the startip disk app from the install cd, it does not 'find' my current system?! is this apples way of not letting you use the cd as it was intended to (i.e not on any other machine than it was intended for)? if so, is there a way to hack this or over come it? any suggestions? thx matt
